Researcher Spotlight
Mr. Kodai Sato from Nagasaki University School of Medicine in Japan came to Leiden University Medical Center for an internship from January to March 2025. With a unique background in playing rugby on a national level in Japan, Mr. Sato has an interest in tropical medicine, sports medicine in Africa and understanding factors associated with differences in immune responses across populations. Field Story
Researchers from Atma Jaya Catholic University in Indonesia share their experiences and reflections on community engagement through service in a remote rural area in Sumba. One of the aims of the engagement as to establish links and cultivate connections for future research studies in Sumba.
