“The starting point for global collaboration is humility”

This month, the Lorentz Center conducted a double interview with HypoVax Global’s founder Professor Maria Yazdanbakhsh and Dr. Gopal Murugan, a researcher and assistant professor at Leiden University Medical Center.

In February 2024, Prof. Yazdanbakhsh was  a co-organiser for the the Lorentz Center workshop “Connecting people to reverse vaccine hypo-responsiveness”. Dr. Murugan joined the workshop as one of the participants.

In this article,  Prof. Yazdanbakhsh and Dr. Murugan reflect on why humility is the foundation of successful global collaboration.
